The Ravenwood Ball is coming!! :)

You've probably already heard about the next big event coming to the spiral: The Ravenwood Ball. The Ravenwood Ball is basically a big party Fallon Shadowblade throws every year for the anniversary of the making of Diary of a Wizard. This will be Diary of a Wizard's second year(woot!)! The Ball will be on June 25 starting a 6 pm central at Ravenwood in Vampire Realm area one BUT big party = big number of people showing up. So once the area is stuffed, there will be "mini-parties" in different areas to hold all of the overflowing party guests, which I am hoping to host one of these parties. All you have to do to qualify is basically own a castle that is available, you have to write or have a blog about Wizard101, promote this big event, and be available as a host on the day of the party. If you wanna host a mini-party and you have all of the stated qualifications, just send an email to Fallon Shadowblade at Diary of a Wizard. There will be cool prizes given out at the party as well, one of which I am sponsoring :) One of the prizes also includes a chance to win 1,000 crowns (Yeah buddy!)! You can also create a poster for the event, the full details about that are on Diary of a Wizard as well. Also you'll need to dress up like this a real ball so some Marleybone gear would be recommended for this occasion. You just need the look, not really any stats. Or if you dont like the look of the Marleybone gear just try to look awesome. Many are excited about this event as well as I am so i hope to see you there!!!! :)

During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king."

Necromancer's Epitaph named an official sponsor for the Ravenwood Ball!!!!! :)

Well it was a couple days ago i was talking to my good friend, Fallon Shadowblade. I know that the Necromancer's Epitaph has only been around for a couple months and it's not very popular at the moment nor does it get much publicity. Well apparently Fallon is one of the few people who follow this blog and she said she loved it, which i found surprising but i was certainly happy to know it!! :) I am really thankful and ever so grateful to Fallon because of this!! Oh and let me take this moment to once again say THANK YOU SO MUCH FALLON!!!!!!!!!! :D Ok just wanted to get that out of my system again lol i'm really excited about the Ravenwood Ball as many others are too. I just hope it doesnt happen during the first or second week of June, because that's when i go to Virgina to see my cousin Eric graduate from High School. Well, we'll just have to see when more details about it are announced on Sunday by Fallon herself. Until then, see you in the spiral!!!

The Sultan's Palace: The new house from the brand new Mega Bundle Wizard101 Gift Card!

What you see me standing in front of in this shot is the new house from the New Mega Bundle Gift Card, the Sultan's Palace! It's basically like last year's card house, the Massive Fantasy Palace, except this is a equally large house with a different theme. As you walk around the house, you'll notice that the place shows some features that resemble the palace from the Disney Movie Aladin (bleh, i hate old disney movies. No offense to disney fans out there). Here are a few shots i took as i walked around the place:

that's me with the AMAZING, Fallon Shadowblade!! Who, might i add, looked nice in that Sultan's Outfit ;)

This is the main room inside the Palace.

In this room, i saw a large portrait portraying a lamp above a large treasure room. But when i walked up to it closely, i found that it was actually a secret door to this hidden room...

You are now free to let out your ooh's and ah's.

And, ironically, i found this at the highest point of the treasure room. I decided to rub it and...

ZOMG!!! It's... THE GENIE!!!! O: This big guy gives you cool stuff from the treasure sands once a day, and even your friends can get stuff too!

the place even has a pvp circle too!

Caution: One may encounter Giant Lion Statues

It has a nice lake too....

which is fun to swim in! weeee!!!!!

No way! Golden treasure chest!!

You gotta be kidding..... -.-

So all in all, the place is really awesome! There are a few wizards who have already gotten the place themselves, even though they dont officially come out till June 1. I dont have this place yet but i should get it Friday when my mom gets paid. Until next time, see you in the Spiral!

A weird hatch and a Poll

Ok, so you're aware of the level 58 pets, which is one of the many new additions that came with the arrival of Wintertusk. I've done a few hatches with my pet Scarecrow and got some hybrids like Shadow Phoenix (Death version of Phoenix Pet), Stormcaller (Storm version of Scarecrow), and Gloom Toad (Death version of Humongofrog). But one hatch i tried to do with my scarecrow turned out really odd. I went to the hatchery to try to expirement by hatching my scarecrow with a Judgement to see what i would end up with. Well i hatched, but instead of getting a death or balance egg, the weirdest thing happened. I got a life egg!! what the heck?!?! it didnt make any sense! Death Pet + Balance Pet does NOT equal Life pet! Well i waited 21 hours and when it finally hatched, it turned out to be a Crop Watcher (Life version of Scarecrow). And i asked the friend i hatched with to see what she got, but she didn't get a crop watcher, she got an Astral Judge (Life version of Judgement)! If you ask me, Astral Judge looks creepy O_O. And to this day, i still don't understand why i ended up with what i did from that hatch. So now while I'm still on the topic of pets, i wanna take a poll. You know how there's so many new level 58 pet hybrids running around, i wanted to find out what your favorite pet hybrid would be. I've heard of some well-favored ones like Cloud Beast (Storm Version of Forest Lord), Fiery Judge (Fire version of Judgement), or one of my personal favorites, the Thunderbird (Storm version of Phoenix). To leave your answer for your favorite level 58 pet hybrid, you can just leave a comment below this post or you can send me a tweet on twitter via @TimmyDeathWiz or you can message me on Facebook, which my name is, of course, Timothy Lighttalon.

Wintery Wonder

I've been playing in Wintertusk like crazy ever since it came out and call i can say is that it's so awesome!!!! I like my new spells, Dark Pact and Virulent Plague, which are very handy! In case you dont know what they do, Dark Pact deals 300 damage to myself and gives me a +30% blade in exchange while Virulent Plague is like regular plague except it reduces all enemys' next damage spell by 40%.  I also beat Wintertusk and got my scarecrow pet named Duke Harley! He's at ancient level right now and gives good pet talents including spritely, which i'm glad about! I also took on the new dungeon in Crab Alley known as the Waterworks, which was challenging but i beat it after 2 and a half hours of fighting. I've went back and beat it 3 times and i managed to get my level 60 hat and coat so now i just need my boots. there's 2 bosses in the waterworks, a squid and a Latern Fish that has 2 other bosses standing by his side. These bosses cheat but If you follow the rules for how to battle them properly, they're not too hard but it takes a while. Here are the Rules for the Squid Boss:

-You can only attack when you're 'inked'
-If you're not inked, you can attack with AOE spells only
-You also cant use single traps either
-If you attack with a single attack when you're not inked, let's just say you're in for a world of hurt.

And here are the rules for the latern fish boss along with the 2 other bosses that accompany him:

- Every 4 rounds the surrounding will change from 'light' to 'dark'
- In the first round of battle, it will be dark, so this means you can only use traps. If you use blades during this time, they will be taken away.
- Then, after 4 rounds has passed, it will change to 'light' and now you will be able to use blades, but not traps. All traps that are already out or are casted during this time will be taken away.
- The only spell that is an exception to the 'dark' rule is amplify. It works as a blade but it is an aura spell, and cannot be taken away.

The Squid boss has 21,000 health and is a balance school monster. The Latern Fish boss has 24,000 health and is a star school monster and the other 2 bosses are fire and death monsters, one has 9,000 health while the other has 8,000. I hope these tips are helpful when in the Waterworks. Oh, and there will be 2 puzzles in the Waterworks as well. The First puzzle will require opening clams. To solve this and avoid getting into another battle, you must open the BLUE clams but DO NOT open the yellow clams or else you will be forced into battle. If you solve the puzzle, many health wisps will appear, allowing you to recover any lost health. The second puzzle is rather easy. You will see an eel near some switches. All you have to do for this is follow the eel and flip the switches he leads you to. So you're literally playing 'follow the leader'. I hope all this helps and WOW i typed a lot! This must be my longest blog post yet. Anyways, until next time, See you in the Spiral!

Wintertusk Live!!

WINTERTUSK IS LIVE!!!!! :) So much to do! I got all my wizards to beat Grizzleheim luckily so i am ready to take on wintertusk. The only thing i really hate though is that i have to beat Wintertusk before i can get my scarecrow pet :'( Oh well, it'll be worth it! Its gonna be next to impossible for my ice wizard to do it cause there's so many ice mobs in Wintertusk which is kind of a pain. Oh well, leave some comments on how you like or hate Wintertusk so far and if there could be anything added, taken away, or fixed to the world. I'd like to actually get some feedback on one of my posts for once so i'd appreciate it. Until next time, see you in the Spiral, or in Wintertusk in this case!

Disasters, Disasters

It's been eternity since my last blog post. One reason for this is because i was without power for 7 days due to the infamous Massive Tornado Outbreak in Alabama. I've been trying to help the recovery efforts by doing some volunteer work. But the good news is i finally got it back and now i can get back to updating my blog. I'll have some pictures up and other updates. Also, happy Mother's Day to all the mothers of the spiral. They should have a hall of fame for the greatest moms of all time er something. I only have 2 wizards that haven't completed Grizzleheim so i'm just about ready for the release of Wintertusk. I love the new level 58 pets and i cant wait to train them! I also wanna get some more crowns so i can get a new stitched outfit, getting tired of the one i have now. Until next time, see you in the spiral!
