Back from Virginia!

Hey everyone just letting you know that i'm back from Virginia and will go back to blog posting, Picture posting, and Fanfic storywriting. :)

Dragon Madness

Kingsisle mentioned with their coming maitenece that there'd be a surprise. Now we know what that surprise is. All new dragon-themed stuff has come to the spiral including new kinds of gear, which happens to be legendary gear, a new sword wand, which is also legendary and very epic looking, and a new bone dragon mount, which I've dubbed the Skelly mount! :D with the dragon-themed stuff you can also get dragonhorned melon, new dragon pets, and a dragon themed spell treasure card such as fire dragon or skeletal dragon. Anyways, have fun with the epic new gear!!

Off to Virgina!

Well folks, over the next few days from today till Sunday, I'm gonna be in Virgina to see my cousins. I'll be able to check facebook and twitter but I won't be able to blog while I'm gone so this blog's gonna go without updates for a little while so yeah :/ see ya guys in a few days!

Petapalooza Promotion: KIfreegames

It appears that in addition to the Petapalooza event, KI free games is giving additional rewards with their usual rewards of codes. Along with gold, they will be giving chances to win pets and pet snacks including mega snacks. This promotion also includes Wizard Blox so you can win pet codes through Wizard Blox as well. So got nuts and Petapalooze like crazy!!!

Pet a Palooza

That's right folks, the petapalooza is here! In case you're wondering what the heck that is, it's an event where Kingsisle is bringing back some retired pets like Red Gobbler, Pale Maiden, Crab, etc, and cutting the prices off some of them by half. This event goes from June 6th (today) to June 14th. Happy Petapaloozing!! lol

Level 55 Spell: Frozen Armor

I'd like to take a look at one of the many new spells that were introduced to the spiral during the release of Wintertusk: Frozen Armor. My Ice alt, Ethan Winterbreaker, just got his frozen armor spell today.

Pretty awesome, isn't it? One thing i wanna do is to make a comparison between Ice Armor and Frozen Armor just to show you how awesome Kingsisle was to give the defensive Ice wizards a much more powerful defense.

Ice Armor

Ice armor is a pretty decent spell. It absorbs 125 damage per pip. But the catch is, you can only use it on yourself. Here's how much damage it would absorb per pip when you casted it:
1 Pip = 125
2 Pips = 250
3 Pips = 375
4 Pips = 500
5 Pips = 625
7 Pips = 750
8 Pips = 875
9 Pips = 1,000
10 Pips = 1,125
11 Pips = 1,250
12 Pips = 1,375
12 Pips = 1,500
13 Pips = 1,625
14 Pips = 1,750

So pretty amazing once you get way up there in the numbers. But just wait until we get to Frozen Armor.



Frozen Armor

Now with Frozen Armor, it's a whole different story. If you look back, you'll notice the 2 differences in accuracy for these spells. While Ice Armor has 90%, Frozen Armor has 100%. Also Frozen Armor absorbs 175 damage per pip. Also, unlike Ice Armor, Frozen Armor can be casted on other players. So let's see how that adds up as you gain pips:

1 Pip = 175

2 Pips = 350

3 Pips = 525

4 Pips = 700

5 Pips = 875

6 Pips = 1,050

7 Pips = 1,225

8 Pips = 1,400

9 Pips = 1,575

10 Pips = 1,750

11 Pips = 1,925

12 Pips = 2,100

13 Pips = 2,275

14 Pips = 2,450

Now i don't know about you, but that just blows my mind. With this spell in hand, it would take forever to take an ice wizard down. This is a great spell that Kingsisle added. Kudos to them! Anyways, until next time, see you in the Spiral!
